Well, I made it to GA via chicago for a few days.  Hometime is almost over.  I'll be heading back to the truck up in N. GA in the wee hours of 7/20 and dispatched by noon.  It seems there is never enough hometime when it happens.  I did manage to get a few things done but not everything I had hoped.  After I washed clothes and caught up with a few people time sort of slipped away.  Bought a new external DVD writer so I can back up my laptop on a few dvd's instead of 16+ CDRW's.  I really need to purchase a nice image program.  Been using acronis true image demo version to get by.  I deleted my linux partitions over the weekend and rewrote my MBR so I didn't have to choose the grub boot options every time I boot the laptop.  Downloaded a few fresh debian sarge cd's to play with but didnt have enough time to get em all.  So I will probably end up just loading a variant of Knoppix (Morphix) for the time being.  I need to find a good wifi card that uses the orinoco or prism II based chipsets for linux somewhere.  If I had a little more time......seems to be a theme.  Anyway....time to hit the road again. 
 
For those of you who are not aware of linux or the tools available with it go download the morphix ISO (cd image) and burn it.   It writes nothing to your hard disk and you can see one of the options besides windows.

make sure you dont just copy the file to a cd....u gotta burn an image with that .iso file!!! :)
